PROGRAM OF HANDS-ON FNIRS FOR MOTOR AND AUDITORY REASEARCH
This 2-day program provides an introduction to fNIRS, with hands-on in the use of NIRS instrumentation for motor and auditory research. Lectures will show applications of motor and auditory fNIRS research, and the hands-on will provide recording and data analysis training.

She is trained as a theoretical linguist, and obtained her PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience in 2002. She has worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of British Columbia, in Canada, and has conducted pioneer work in newborn speech perception using the near-infrared spectroscopy, revealing the prenatal experience on early perceptual abilities. She has also been the first one to document the beginnings of the acquisition of grammar in newborns and proverbial infants.
