Speaker: Jason Farquhar
Jason is a 15year veteran in the field of communicative Brain Computer Interfaces. He started out in machine learning, before focusing on machine learning for brain computer interfaces at the Max-Planck for Intelligent Systems. He was researcher and teacher in AI and Brain Computer Interfaces for 10 years at the Donders Institute for Cognitive Cognition until 2018, leading the team which won the Silver Medal in the BCI race at the first Cybathlon competition in 2016. During this time, he co-developed the core technologies which won the ALS prize-for-life in 2017 and led to the foundation of MindAffect, which he joined to lead the technical development in 2018.
